I am currently a research assistant at University of Pennsylvania under the supervision of Prof. Chenfanfu Jiang. Graphics is my favorite flavor of computer science. It has significant visual appeal while being based on a solid mathematical foundation. For me, it is especially exciting to build computer-graphics effects indistinguishable from real-world phenomena and to utilize optimization methods to deliver robust and fundamental solutions. I obtained my master's degree in computer graphics from UPenn with a thesis titled hybrid Lagrangian-Eulerian topology optimization and am very honored and excited to be joining MPI for a six-month research internship with Prof. Christian Theobalt and Dr. Thabo Beeler. Along the way at Megvii, Napier, UPenn and Disney, I am very fortunate to have some wonderful mentors, they are my group leaders, colleagues, supervisors, PhD students and other interns in my group.
